  • 2 cups cooked CHICKEN
  • 1/2 cup MAYONNAISE
  • 4 oz CREAM CHEESE
  • 1/2 cup GRAPES
  • 1/4 cup ALMONDS
  • 2 stalks CELERY
  • 2 GREEN ONIONS
  • 1/2 tsp GARLIC POWDER
  • 1/4 tsp SALT
  • 1/4 tsp BLACK PEPPER

Instructions

Step 1:

  • Place your cooked chicken on the cutting board. Cut it into small, bite-sized cubes. You can also shred it with two forks.
  • Put the chicken into your large mixing bowl. Make sure the chicken is completely cool first. This keeps the dressing from melting.

Step 2:

  • Get a separate small bowl for the dressing. Add the mayo and the soft cream cheese. Use your whisk to blend them together.
  • The mixture should be very smooth and creamy. Add your garlic powder, salt, and pepper now. Mix it again until perfectly smooth.

Step 3:

  • Wash your celery and grapes under cold water. Slice the grapes into halves very carefully. Finely chop the celery and the green onions.
  • Add these fresh items to the chicken bowl. This adds color and texture to your meal. It looks beautiful in the bowl.

Step 4:

  • Pour the creamy dressing over the chicken mixture. Use your spatula to fold everything together gently. Ensure every piece of chicken is coated well.
  • Add the slivered almonds at the very end. This keeps them crunchy for a long time. It adds a great final touch.

Step 5:

  • Cover the bowl with some plastic wrap tightly. Place it in the fridge for one hour. This helps the flavors meld together well.
  • Stir it once more before you serve it. Your salad is now ready to be enjoyed. Serve it cold for the best taste.
