  • Parchment Paper
  • Medium saucepan
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Sharp Knife

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups SUGAR
  • 0.66 cup EVAPORATED MILK
  • 2 tbsp BUTTER
  • 0.25 tsp SALT
  • 2 cups MINI MARSHMALLOWS
  • 1.5 cups CHOCOLATE CHIPS
  • 0.5 cup WALNUTS
  • 1 tsp VANILLA EXTRACT

Instructions

Step 1:

  • Line your glass dish with paper. Let the paper hang over the sides. This helps you lift the fudge later.

Step 2:

  • Place a saucepan on the stove. Set the heat to medium now. Do not use high heat yet.

Step 3:

  • Add sugar and milk to the pan. Add the butter and salt too. Stir them together until they blend.

Step 4:

  • Bring the mix to a full boil. Stir it the whole time. Let it boil for five minutes.

Step 5:

  • Remove the pan from the heat. Do this very carefully now. The mix will be very hot.

Step 6:

  • Add the marshmallows and chocolate chips. Stir them until they melt. The mix should look smooth.

Step 7:

  • Fold in the walnuts and vanilla. Stir them in gently. Make sure they are spread out.

Step 8:

  • Pour the mix into the dish. Spread it out with your spoon. Make the top nice and flat.

Step 9:

  • Put the dish in the fridge. Let it sit for two hours. It needs to become very firm.

Step 10:

  • Lift the fudge out using the paper. Cut it into small squares. Serve it to your happy guests.

Semi-sweet chips work best for this recipe.
You can use pecans instead of walnuts.
